One of the very popular shortcut keys combinations on Windows is âControl + Alt + Deleteâ, which is used to open the Task Manager and force quit apps. Activity Monitor is for Mac what the Task Manager is for Windows. So here's how to do Ctrl Alt Delete on a Mac: Press ⌘+Option+Esc and you'll bring up the Force Quit dialog box. I had to sacrifice two Mac keys to replace them with Alt and Delete.
